MA Marketing - Grace Goldstein

Grace Goldstein I am very excited about the opportunity to represent my fellow students here at LSDM. With such an international community, I find beauty in the one aspect we all have in common, a passion for marketing. Throughout my studies so far, I have been able to connect with my classmates and learn from each other as we collaborate on group projects, or simply by reading their discussion posts and gathering insight. Coming from a completely different school system before starting my degree at LSDM, it is very interesting for me to learn how things operate and I would love to be able to help out my classmates in the process.

BA Design - Daniel Rodler

Daniel - Student Representative BA Design

I am an Austrian-based Creator with a problem-solving mindset. My studies at LSDM are teaching me a broad skillset, which strengthens my belief that the best outcome of any endeavour can be achieved by identifying problems or needs and finding appropriate solutions through design thinking.

Being a students representative is both an honour and a great responsibility to me. My first goal is to offer an open ear to students, listening to and trying to understand their needs and finally providing meaningful feedback to the university.
My second goal is to find ways to enhance the LSDM experience and propose ideas to make the unique position of studying fully online even more worthwhile, emphasising a strong and growing academic network across the globe and putting a spotlight on students’ works.

Please feel invited to contact me.

My professional journey includes that I am currently, a visual communication facilitator at CTU Training Solutions and in the past a lector at Vega School, and art director at Farmer's Weekly and the Demartini Institute, which has afforded me a unique perspective on the design industry. My involvement in exhibitions, both locally and internationally, demonstrates my desire to make a global impact through creativity and design. My list of accolades, including being named as one of Mail & Guardian's 200 Young South Africans in media and being named a finalist in the Sasol New Signatures Art Competition, underscores my dedication and influence within the industry. Additionally, my roles as an Ambassador for the Pan-African Creative Exchange and a member of the program advisory committee at CTU Training Solutions reflect my dedication to fostering collaboration and growth within our professional community and to stay at the forefront of design innovation.
